I recently heard a statistic that one out of six real estate agents won’t renew their license for the upcoming year, heading into 2024. Today, I want to shed light on why the real estate industry has such a high failure rate.

I believe there are two primary reasons for this. First, many agents work tirelessly, keeping themselves busy, but they often struggle because they lack the necessary knowledge and guidance. They put in effort, but they’re not doing the right things due to a lack of proper training and direction.

The second reason for this high fallout rate is that some agents do know what they should be doing but fail to put in the work and effort required to succeed. They can’t sell houses or serve their clients effectively, leading to an inability to sustain a career in real estate.
